Java Developer (f/m)

DIMOCO was founded in 2000 and is now a leader in the field of mobile transactions. DIMOCO operates, develops and markets a mobile transaction hub – a “network bundle” by which companies process their mobile messaging and payment transactions.

Your assignment:
You will participate in designing and developing our basic components for our WEB, SMS, MMS, mobile Web and mobile payment applications and will develop concepts on how to integrate these in our ASP (Application Service Providing) landscape. You are a software developer used to challenging contexts and you will support our team with implementing new projects. You will be responsible for the following:

  • Implementing the core components in payment gateways
  • Object-oriented analysis and design
  • Supporting requirement analyses
  • Implementing new, cutting-edge technologies
  • Continuously developing and maintaining the core platform
  • Suporting quality assurance measures
  • 3rd Level Support
  • Documentation

Our requirements

  • Very good German and English both written and spoken
  • Solution and customer-oriented thinking
  • Java know-how (in Linux/Unix would be advantageous)
  • Experience in database programming (in particular, Oracle)
  • Degree / diploma / certificate in IT

Experience in the following areas would be an advantage:

  • Java Libraries
  • J2EE
  • UML
  • Other programming languages such as C++, Perl, Python etc.
  • Experience in the field of SMS/MMS/mobiles Internet/WEB/mobiles payment
  • Very good knowledge of Linux, Windows


What we offer:

According to the collective agreement we offer a gross annual salary of 28,126 EUR (all-in) with a significant overpayment - depending on qualifications and experience.
