Test & Quality Assurance Engineer

DIMOCO was founded in 2000 and is now a leader in the field of mobile transactions. DIMOCO operates, develops and markets a mobile transaction hub – a “network bundle” by which companies process their mobile messaging and payment transactions.

Your tasks:
As a Test & Quality Assurance Engineer you will help ensure the software quality of our Apps (iPhone, Android, etc.), Web, SMS, mobile Internet and mobile payment applications and will design solutions for their integration in our ASP (Application Service Providing) landscape. You are a Test & Quality Assurance Engineer used to challenging contexts and you will support our team with the implementation of new projects as follows:

  • define and document test and commissioning criteria
  • participate in comprehensive test and quality concepts for our web and SMS/MMS/mobile internet applications and payment applications
  • Define, execute and document test cases
  • Further develop test automation
  • Coordinate the tests with the development department and external partners
  • Monitor software releases by means of specially developed tests
  • Expanding test automation in the web and mobile SMS/MMS/Web application environment
  • Improve quality management
  • Support requirement analysis


Our requirements:

  • Excellent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Solution and customer oriented thinking
  • Very high precision
  • Very good knowledge of Linux
  • Experience with programming in a scripting language for automated testing
  • The following are advantageous for the performance of your tasks at DIMOCO:
  • Experience with test and quality assurance of internet and SMS/MMS/WAP applications
  • Knowledge of internet technologies such as HTTP, HTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, SSL, TCP/IP, mobile Apps (iPhone, Android)
  • Experience with procedural and quality models (RUP, Scrum, CMM, ITIL, ISO)
  • Practical knowledge of software development (e.g. Java, PHP, Flash)
  • Knowledge of automated test tools
  • Databases (in particular Oracle)
  • Knowledge of Windows and mobile end devices
  • Diploma / certificate / degree in IT
  • Additional foreign languages
  • Professional experience in IT

According to the collective agreement we offer a gross annual salary of 28,126 EUR (all-in) with a significant overpayment - depending on qualifications and experience.
