1 year Mobile Marketing Brand Lucy Marx, 1 year repositioning DIMOCO: New customers, products and subsidiaries speak for success

Vienna, 7 September 2011 – One year after the mobile marketing brand Lucy Marx was launched - and DIMOCO repositioned itself as a mobile messaging and payment transaction partner  - the company took stock this morning at a breakfast press conference at Cafe Landtmann. Besides many new customers and projects, it presented its strategic sales and product campaigns as well as its continuing market penetration by means of founding and acquiring new companies.

About establishing Lucy Marx, DIMOCO’s mobile marketing brand

Roughly a year ago, the Lucy Marx mobile marketing brand was launched. Today the brand owner, DIMOCO, looked back on the decision. Peter Hofbauer, Vice President of Lucy Marx Mobile Marketing, confirmed that “Launching Lucy Marx as mobile marketing personified was very well received,“ adding, “but more importantly, we were able to position ourselves as a creative mobile marketing agency and – in view of the many customer projects – we can now consider ourselves well-established.” Peter Hofbauer then referred to new customers such as WINPIN, McDonald’s Austria, Ewe Küchen, and paysafecard.com Wertkarten AG amongst many others.

New applications for iPhone and Androids have seen staggering success above all in the mobile web segment. Due to increasing demand and the prevailing market trends, the mobile marketing agency will continue to specialize in customized design and development of mobile applications and websites.  “Our strong manpower and our wealth of experience in the mobile business – over 11 years already – is what our customers have come to count on and appreciate,” said Roland Tauchner, DIMOCO CEO.

About establishing DIMOCO as a mobile messaging and payment transaction partner
By “spinning off“ the mobile marketing business segment as an independent brand, DIMOCO has strengthened its position as a mobile messaging and payment transaction specialist. The company thus firmly occupies a niche in the added value chain. At its core is the mobile messaging and payment transaction hub, developed, operated and marketed by DIMOCO, by which the company provides business customers with bundled payment connections in CEE and messaging connections around the world. “We’re talking huge SMS and mPayment volumes. This is exactly what our high-performance infrastructure is geared to do,“ explains Tauchner, adding, “optimal transmission speed and high throughput rates whilst maintaining quality are decisive here.”

About DIMOCO’s outlook: New industry solutions, subsidiaries, and growing international sales
- The company’s new strategic goal is to focus on business within the mobile messaging segment. For example, providing secure authentication methods such as mTAN services to banks. At the press conference, DIMOCO revealed that it was working intensely on other industry-specific mobile messaging specializations.

And DIMOCO is changing in the mobile payment area, too. With the appointment of Clemens Leitner as Vice President Mobile Messaging and Payment and the sales offensive that immediately followed, the cornerstone for international sales expansion was laid. The main focus of the business-to-business enterprise is operating mobile operator payment services that make it possible to bill digital content via the consumer’s cell phone invoice whilst supporting various companies according to their content category. In the gaming area, for example, payment providers and content providers in other segments are serviced directly.

By acquiring an 84.5% share in the German company the agent factory, DIMOCO plans to continue strengthening its leading position in the field of processing mobile transactions, particularly in the mobile ticketing sector. The agent factory, with its easy.GO solution, has developed the first Germany-wide mobile travel companion with registration-free ticket purchase capability for mobile phones.

Furthermore, DIMOCO announced that it will soon found two new subsidiaries in Germany and Serbia.

About DIMOCO and Lucy Marx
DIMOCO was founded in 2000 and has become one of the leading providers of mobile messaging and payment providers in the CEE countries today. Lucy Marx, on the other hand, is an internationally registered brand owned by DIMOCO. The company thus positions itself and its dedicated unit as a creative mobile marketing agency. DIMOCO has 59 employees at its headquarters in Brunn am Gebirge/Austria alone.
