Subscriptions/Abos = Push Services
Content or information "pushed" automatically and regularly to the user's cell phone once he has ordered and authorized the service. Usually done with MT-Billing.
Carrier Billing
General term used for MO and MT-Billing. Billing (payment) is carried out with the help of an information carrier, i.e. the SMS and a premium tariff. Besides the Billing Gateway connections, carrier billing is the second technological pillar of Operator Payment.

Validity Period
The validity period provides information about the time period during the SMSCs of the MNOs attempts to send the SMS to the subscriber, after expiry of the validity period the SMS also expires if it could not be sent within this time period
undelivered MT SMS
The SMS was delivered to the MNO but he was unable to send the SMS to the subscriber within the validity period (for example due to roaming, cell phone switched off, no cellular service, etc.)

Standard Rated Number in the form of an MSISDN, via which SMS can be sent and received.
Web Opt In
Payment authorisation on a webpage through typing in the TAN-code, which is sent through SMS MT to the Subscriber.
